Early Life and Martial Arts Beginnings

Growing up in a small farming town in rural Idaho, Dewey's interest in martial arts was sparked during his childhood after being bullied. This early experience motivated him to learn self-defense. He later pursued higher education, earning degrees in Health & Human Performance from Brigham Young University and Fitness Technology & Exercise Science from Salt Lake Community College.

Coaching and Training Career
