Grandmaster Craig Hutson is a distinguished martial artist with over five decades of experience, having celebrated his 50th consecutive year of practice on August 13, 2023.  Throughout his extensive career, he has trained across the United States, Canada, Korea, and Japan, earning multiple Master-level degrees in various martial arts disciplines.

As the owner and Head Instructor of Dragon Kido Authentic Martial Arts in South Elgin, Illinois, Grandmaster Hutson specializes in personalized instruction, offering one-on-one training and semi-private lessons.  His teaching methodology combines traditional martial arts principles with modern techniques, aiming to promote health, fitness, and personal development among his students.

In addition to his martial arts endeavors, Hutson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences. He has utilized this academic background alongside his martial arts expertise to assist individuals dealing with domestic violence and addiction issues, working with organizations such as the Elgin Community Crisis Center, Advocate Counseling Center, and Lutheran Social Services of Illinois.
