Judoka

What is Judoka?

A Judoka is a person who practices judo, a modern martial art and combat sport that originated in Japan. Judo, which means "gentle way," focuses on throws, joint locks, and pins, rather than strikes. Judokas train to use their opponent's force against them, emphasizing technique, leverage, and balance. The sport is both a physical and mental discipline, promoting values such as respect, humility, and perseverance.

We must remember that regardless of our differences in rank we are all equal as human beings. You can always tell how caring and compassionate others are in their actions towards those "below" them. Of course you are going to treat your black belt professor kindly, but how do you treat the white belt taking their first class? In spite of the division in belt rank there must be no division as people.
